Yuwa Ki Aawaz Sanstha, a Government of India-recognized NGO, successfully conducted a Loan Recovery Scam Awareness Campaign under its national-level flagship initiative – Skill Development & Rural Employment Mission 2025. The event was organized in Jayaram Nagar Village, Sidhauli, Sitapur (U.P.), with active participation from over 30 women from nearby villages.

This awareness campaign focused on financial literacy, legal empowerment, and protection of rural borrowers—especially women—from the growing issue of microfinance and loan recovery frauds in India.

🔍 Key Objectives of the Campaign:

• To raise awareness about Small Finance Banks and how they function.
• To educate participants on how loan recovery scams operate in rural areas.
• To inform women about their legal rights and protections under Indian law.
• To build confidence among female borrowers to report threats, abuse, or harassment by unauthorized loan agents.
• To connect rural communities with helpline numbers, legal support, and government grievance redressal platforms.

📢 Important Awareness Messages Shared During the Campaign:

• “अपने अधिकार को जानें!” – Know your legal rights before taking or repaying any loan.
• “लोन भरने के पैसे नहीं हैं, तो परेशान ना हो – समूह लोन एजेंट आपको गाली नहीं देगा!” – Encouraging victims to stand against abusive language and harassment.
• Microfinance institutions and small banks must follow RBI guidelines – any violation is punishable.
• No agent has the right to threaten or defame you for repayment delays due to genuine problems.

📸 Highlights of the Program:

• Real-life stories shared by victims of loan harassment.
• Volunteers conducted live demonstrations on how loan frauds occur.
• Posters and flyers in Hindi explained the difference between legal and illegal recovery practices.
• The campaign concluded with a pledge by participants to report frauds, help others, and never bow down to unlawful pressure.
