The campaign aimed to spread awareness among local communities, parents, students, and employers about the legal, moral, and social consequences of child labour. The focus was on promoting education, skill development, and employment opportunities to eradicate the root causes of child exploitation. 🚸 Key Facts Highlighted in the Campaign Over 10.1 million children are still engaged in child labour across India. Child labour constitutes 13% of the total workforce in India. States with the highest incidence of child labour include Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. A shift has been noticed where children now often work in hidden environments like homes and small industries, making it harder to track and rescue them.
